It’s that time of year again. Application forms for scholarships are now available.
Years ago, the church created a scholarship fund to award scholarships to individuals who are furthering their education beyond high school. The amount available for the scholarship awards is the annual interest accrued from the fund principal.
- The scholarships are available to any individual that is a member of the church or has at least one legal parent, guardian, or family member as a member of the church.
- The amount of the scholarships vary depending on the funds available and the number of scholarships awarded.
Past awards have ranged from a few hundred dollars to $1,500.
Additionally, the Bottomini family who were long-time members of the church, created a scholarship fund with the same
conditions as the church scholarship. The balance of this fund shall not decrease to less than $10,000. Any amount over the $10,000 limit is available for scholarship awards. The past awards are similar to those made from the church scholarship fund.
The application deadline is June 15, 2025.
The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and make
recommendations to the Finance Committee for the award amounts and the recipients. Generally, this recommendation is made by July 1 st. Upon approval by the Finance Committee, letters will be sent to the award recipients.
