GOBBLE WOBBLE TURKEY TROT TO RESUME THANKSGIVING TRADITION
The Barre Congregational Church looks forward to our annual 5k walk/run Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot fundraiser for our Mission and Outreach Ministry. The BCC's Mission and Outreach Ministry serves the local community by providing support, compassion, and programs like Laundry Love; a free laundry service for anyone to come during the set hours once per week alternating from 2 different local laundry mats and receive financial and physical help from our volunteers to achieve clean laundry.
The Gobble Wobble Turkey Trot will be held, as always on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, and begin at 9:30 am sharp. Runners are strongly encouraged to register in advance. Online registration is still available until the 22nd of November at runsignup.com; same-day registration is always offered at the race. Make sure you arrive with enough time to pick up your packet and/or register for the race and walk up to the pavilion from the parking lot. There will be port-o-lets available near both the registration site and the start line. A map of the race course will be available at the packet pick-up and same-day registration site. The start and finish line will be at the pavilion at the end of the recreation area at Barre Town School. Same-day registration and packet pick-up will be in the school parking lot just before you enter the road up to the pavilion. There will be NO INSIDE REGISTRATION at the Barre Town Hall. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome! AND.... costumes are encouraged ~ Get creative!
